Firmware Engineer

Main tasks
  • Brainstorm on new products, imagine and optimize their interactions and derive their functionalities - 10%
  • Define the software architecture – 5%
  • Work on the low-level drivers of the different PCB developed by our Electronics engineers. – 25%
  • Develop, test and validate amazing features with a focus on User Experience and usability – 60%
Knowledge and experience
  • You have a strong experience with electronic products
  • You have valuable professional or side project experience using C/C++ for embedded software.
  • You have a strong understanding in object oriented concepts.
  • You have knowledge in Python scripting.
  • Experience with connectivity is a plus (BLE, Cellular, GNSS, etc.)
  • Experience with PCB design is a plus.
  • Experience using Github, Rust and Docker containers is a plus.
Your profile
  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Software Engineering .
  • A passion for aesthetic and innovative technological products

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills

  • Work on the schematics and layout of PCBs (Altium Designer). – 35%
  • Work on the low-level drivers of the different PCB. – 20%
  • Test, validate and adapt the manufactured prototypes – 25%
  • Support EMC/RED certifications with subcontractors – 5%
Knowledge and experience
  • You have a strong experience with electronic products and PCB design
  • You have experience applying EMC/RED guidelines for certifications
  • You have valuable professional or side project experience using C/C++ for embedded software.
  • You have a strong understanding in object oriented concepts.
  • You have experience designing with connectivity (BLE, Cellular, Lora, Zigbee, etc.)
  • Experience using Altium Designer is a plus
  • You have knowledge in Python scripting
  • Experience using git, Jenkins and docker containers is a plus.

  • A Master degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
  • 2+ years’ experience in PCB design is a plus
